With over 25 years of experience in fashion and design, MALENE BIRGER is synonymous with uncompromising style and attention to details. Having led the creation of two of Denmark´s most successful international fashion brands – Day, Birger et Mikkelsen and By Malene Birger, she sold her shares and left the fashion industry for good in 2014.

The multiple award-winning designer has since worked on numerous projects within interior and art. In 2018 she founded the eponymous design consultancy MALENE BIRGER’S WORLD. She has since 2008 kept developing her skills within ART since 2008.

As a self-proclaimed nomad, MALENE BIRGER spent her formative years living and working in London(2013-2018), then she moved to Lago Di Como in Italy (2018-2020). Present time she mainly works as an artist from her studios in Spain/Mallorca and Greece. MALENE BIRGER continues to explore and evolve her creativity, working as a consultant on interior, design and art projects.
